Explorations Gains PNAIS "Candidate" Status
Explorations Academy has raised its accreditation status as of February 2010!
Explorations Academy is proud to now be a Candidate Member of PNAIS.
After over ten years as a school fully accredited by the Northwest Association of Accredited Schools, Explorations Academy is raising the bar. We joined the Pacific Northwest Association of Accredited Schools (PNAIS) two years ago to leverage our continued improvement. Now, our "Subscriber" status has been raised to "Candidate" status in recognition that Explorations has moved closer to full PNAIS accreditation.
This means is that we are increasingly fulfilling our goal of providing a world-class education to young people in Northwest Washington. We emphasize critical thinking skills, creative problem solving, advanced interpersonal skills, and global awareness -- all of which are consistent with an education for the 21st Century. Based on our continued improvements, our capable students are even more effectively gaining the tools to make positive change in the world.
