Joe Teehan of KGMI recently sat down with Explorations Academy high school students, Skye D'Angelo and Theo Krantz, to discuss their school's recent four-week trip to Cuba. The Cuba Expedition was an ambitious undertaking giving ten high schoolers and three faculty members a unique view into the world of Cuba. While only 90 miles from our borders, Cuba seems locked in time. The interview explores many questions about life in Cuba and the Cuban people, sustainability in a country forced to make do, and what it's like to experience a Communist country as it edges a tiny bit towards greater contact with the outside world.
